I cannot access my Control Panel without getting an error box that comes up.
The error states: An error occurred while windows was working with the
Control Panel file c:\windows\system32\netsetup.cpl

Please help if you can!

The file is monitored by Windows File Protection. Just Explore to the
folder C:\Windows\System32 & rename Netsetup.Cpl to Netsetup.Org.
Windows will reload the file immediately from it's Cache or i386 folder.
You'll have to change "Normal" views to Show Hidden & System Files
to be able to see the .Cpl file(s).

Thank you so much, I am attempting this now....
Is there a reason why I all of a sudden am getting this message ? I
recently have been notified by McAfee that they detected & cleaned a worm &
trojan. Could this be why?

Really, I just did it on mine to verify I wasn't mistaken about the .Cpl
being File protected. Just find the file, Right Click on the icon, From
the Context Menu left Click rename. The name will turn Blue - Press
Enter (Wipes out entire name). Type in Netsetup.Cpl and click away
or Press Enter. WFP will immediately place a fresh copy in the folder.
