continuous rebooting

I recently wipe clean my hadrd drive to do a clean reinstall of xp pro with
service pack 2. After reloading xp I down loaded all the security updates -
about 70 in all.
The system keeps re-booting into safe mode. Which update is breaking my
system or how can I find out without removing them one at a time?

If xp was installed w/o service packs,& you ran SP2 cd or windows update &
installed it then, before you reboot, set in cmd:CHKDSK C: /F or set in my
computer,hd properties. The OS will run much better & start as it
should.Either
way,try booting to xp cd,recovery,type:Fixboot Agree,type:CHKDSK C: /p
after,type:EXIT Let xp start,remove cd
