I have recently installed a Belkin USB2.0 & FireWire PCI card. Now when I
turn off my PC it automatically re-boots. I have disabled the Automatic
restart function and got the following message:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Tech Info:

Stop: 0x000000D1 (0x00000000, 0x00000012, 0x00000000, 0xEEF314BB)

W324dyvy.sys. address EFIF34BB base at EFIE5000, datestamp 3BEC1418

Can anyone help with a fix for this?

Thanks for that!!! but my PC is up to date as I have the automatic update
function turned on. Or am I missing the point?

A Google web search fails to locate a single reference to any file
named W324dyvy.sys

This is often, but not always, an indication that the file is
something that was created by a virus/trojan/spyware of some kind.

Please verify that the file name is correct per the actual error
message and if it is then your next actions should be:

1. Contact Belkin't tech support as it is possible that this is part
of the drivers for your newly installed card.

2. Check your computer thoroughly for viruses and spyware. MVP Jim
Eshelman's Spyware Quick Fix page at
http://www.aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm is a good starting point.

Good luck

The file reference relates to my my MOTU soundcard. I have now resloved the
problem by intalling the card in a different expansion slot.

Thanks for your help!
