continous rebooting

I have a laptop running win2000 professional that just
started rebooting in a continous loop. Gets past the
starting Windows 2000 splash screen then reboots. Does
this in all the safe mode options also. Any ideas?

Have you tried to use the "last known good configuration" yet?

I've tried last known good, safe mode command prompt, safe
mode with and without network, and every other option and
still does nothing but rebooting after the starting
Windows 2000 splash screen.

Have you installed any new devices on the machine?

No new software or hardware. Just started without
anything being to it. I can get into the BIOS but that is
it.
