Context Menu Crash -- mp3, image, pdf files

I get a windows explorer crash with right-clicking the
above files. Thee error is in nxshext.dll. Ran sfc, un-
associated most of my audio file types. Still have acrobat
and acdsee as default openers for pdf & image files. Any
ideas?. WinXP pro, all critical updates applied.

The first thing you need to do in troubleshooting this is to post the exact
error message. The file "nxshext.dll" is not a Windows file. Search for this
file and right click/Properties/Version Tab to see what program it is
associated with.

Go to Start/Run and type eventvwr.msc and press OK. Click the
Applications item and look for any error messages associated with the last
time the error occured. Double click the error to see the details. You can
use the copy icon at the top right of the details dialog box to copy the
details and paste it back in a reply here.

My fault for assuming this was an windows problem (as it
would occurr in windows)- nxshext.dll is installed by
ExplorerPlus (a PowerDesk offshoot, by Novatix). I'll post
this issue to them. Here's the error message:
