it has been reported that after you send to the same contact more than 1 time and then enter the first 3 characters of name it works.

On XP when I put in the first few letters of a name it would get the name
out of my address book and add it. This email does not do that even though I
checked the option to do it so I have to go to my address book every time I
want to send an email. How do I get it to work correctly?

"mikeyshd" already answered your question, but I wanted to alert
you to the fact that your PC is set for the wrong time zone (Pacific).
It causes your posts to be time-stamped in the future.
