Contacts synchronization with Mail

Greetings,

I have expended significant effort arranging my contacts into folders.
subfolders and groups via the Windows Contacts interface.

When I goto Windows Mail, Create mail, To:, the Select Recipients window
appears. My problem is that the contacts (in this window) are not arranged in
the same manner as in my Contacts interface. Instead, all of the contacts are
listed in a flat file arrangement. Which is worthless.

How can I have the same arrangement in Windows Mail as I have in Contacts?
(BTW: I am running Vista64 SP1).
Thank you.

You can create the folders, but WM will not show them when you click on To:,
CC: or BCC:

However, you can do it bassackwards if you have folders... open your
Contact folder, open your sub-folder, select your recipient(s), right-click,
select Action - Send Email

Thanks for the response Dave.
I gotta say that Mail is pretty darned weak.

It begs the question:
If MS put effort into developing a Contacts application and it is severly
underutilized by Mail....what was the point? I do have MS Office... do you
think Outlook would do a better job of addressing my original query?

Cheers,
Ray
