Contacts in Outlook

I just entered in 1,000 name and address' in outlook. I will be using 500 of
the contacts that I have entered in a 6 week drip campaign. I need to do some
sort of mail merge in order to print lables. We ordered a mailing list of
2000 but I will only be working with 500 at a time. How do I sort the
contacts in to differect groups and only print lables for each 500 at a time?
 
assign categories to each group of contacts. (select them, r-click,
categories)
