Is there a way to omit one or more names from a Group List when sending an
email without actualloy removing the name from the list permanently. In
Outlook, you were able to right click on the group in the "To" box and open
all the actual names and remove what you like. This does not work in Windows
Mail.

No, I am using Windows Mail ... which is the newsgroup I am in. I used to
use Outlook, but it permanently crashed and no one coudl seem to fix it (had
Outlook 2003 and Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit). However, I don't mind
Windows Mail, except for my question.

Thank you

With Windows Mail, the only way to do that is to save the message as a
Draft, then re-open it. Then you can selectively remove recipients.

In the newer Windows Live Mail, it's much easier, as you can expand the
group in the message compose window.

Thanks to you too. Am all fixed now

Hello Renee,

In SECTION TWO of the tutorial below, you can use the option in step 9
or 10 to do so.

Hope this helps,
