Contacts folder - useless

I have my contacts organized into distribution groups.
Once put into a group you cant see any address or phone
number info for members of that group. Also when you do a
export to a csv or other file there is no way to do just
that group of contacts. So basically the groups function
is useless for anything other than email. I need to be
able to expand those groups into full field lists of
contacts including all of the address, phone numbers and
other pertinent info. How do I do this.

The reason that i am doing it this way is not by choice.
I originally started these "groups" in outlook express
and the way outlook recognizes them is as a dist list.
How do I get them organized into a group that will
display detailed info without having to go back and re
enter every thing.

You should not be using Distribution Lists. DL's are only a list of names
and email address.
You should be storing Contacts in Contacts Folders the way they were
designed.
