Contacts folder inside Contacts

Running Windows XP and Outlook 2002

I have a Contacts Folder within my main Contacts. I want to share the
subfolder with other Outlook users, but when I give the other users
permission as editors to both Contacts folders only the main one is
visible. Is there a way to share this nested folder?

Thanks
Carol

To access a shared folder that isn't one of the folders listed on the File | Open | Other User's Folder dialog, the mailbox owner needs to grant Reviewer permission to the root of the mailbox, as well as appropriate permission on the folder.

The user who needs access then goes into Tools | Services, brings up the properties for the Exchange Server service, and on the Advanced tab, adds the mailbox.

After that, the user will see in the folder list all those folders in the secondary mailbox to which he/she has access and can add any of those folders to the Outlook Bar. See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/links.htm#addtobar.

This worked great. Now I've been asked if there is a way to search this
address book when sending out an email to resolve an address.

Thanks

Try Tools | Address Book, then in the address book Tools | Options. As long as the list is in the Outlook Address Book, you should be able to add it to the address resolution order list.
