Contacts don't sync in new Palm Pilot -all other categories sync f

I am trying to synchronize my brand new Palm Pilot Tungsten E with Outlook
2000 on my computer and my Outlook contacts do not synchronize to the Palm.
Outlook calendar, tasks, notes all synchronize successfully.

What should I try?

I use Chapura's KeySuite package with my Palm and love it! It can
synchronize multiple folders, calendars, etc. I use my Palm heavily to sync
between work and home and can without a doubt say KeySuite is the best.
