Contacts Doesnt Synchronise

The synchronisation appears to work OK and everything shows as synchronised.
BUT there is only 10 entries on the Palmtop. I can remember having this
problem when I initially installed Outlook and ActiveSync, but it eventually
went away (for no accountable reason as far as I can remember).
Unfortunately, it's some time since I looked up a contact on the palmtop and
there have been quite a lot of updates to XP since then (including SP2).

Can anyone suggest what is causing the problem and how to fix it???

If you're using a PocketPC and Activesync, make sure you're running the
latest version of Activesync. And then post in microsoft.public.pocketpc.

NB: When you say "palmtop" most people will think you mean a Palm handheld,
not a PocketPC.

I would start by checking your Palm - are you using PocketMirror or HotSych.
I would reinstall those and also check your conduits. Synching issues with
Palms can be complex since it requires a third party tool such as
pocketmirror to function.

Anyway, reinstall your synch program and reset everything this may work for
you.

Also the contacts would need to be in the main folder to synch into your
Palm.

Sorry. I used Palmtop as a generic name. The item is an iPaq 3850 with the
2002 version of the OS. Synchronisation is done via ActiveSync.

Were I in your shoes, I'd delete the partnership in ActiveSync, clear out
the Contacts on the iPAQ and create a new partnership.
