Hi,
I have found a problem in adding contacts. This is the same issue I've
found on two pc's now running xp pro xp2, outlook 2003.
The problem is this:
If I click the open book icon at the top of the outlook main pane, it opens
the address book. I see my list of contacts. If I now click the 'add
contact icon and select new contact and put this entry in the 'contacts'
click ok to go to the 'untitled - contact' view to add details of a new
contact. Now if I add a name, for example ' debbie charlton', select 'file
as' debbie charlton (this haas no bearing on the problem it could file either
way), now just click 'save & close' (I've not added any further details, just
name, add rest later eg.
Now back to the addres book try and find debbie charlton ? not there ! if
you go to the main contacts view (bottom left) you will find debbie charlton,
but not in the address book view.
Now if you add an email address to this contact they will appear in the
address book now. Is this an error or should it work like this correct ?
