Contacts already in use by another person?

I am new to Access and have done a few "tests" with my database. I deleted
the files and when I went back in to create a new Contact file, I get a
message that says: You can't modify the structure of table 'Contacts',
because it is already in use by another person or process.

HELP! I am the only one using this computer, what did I do?

Tina,

If you know for sure that Access is not open on your workstation, look to
see if there is a .ldb file with the same name and location as your .mdb.
Delete the .ldb file (it should have a size of 1kb).

If it will not allow you to delete it, reboot your machine and then try the
delete again.

Hope this helps.
