contacts/ address book

I have a rather basic question.

When I start a new message, I click on the 'To:' button which opens the
'select names' window. One field says 'Outlook address book', and at the
left the message 'No entries in this address book'. I have to click on
'address book', and then I am able to select 'contacts', where all my
contacts are. Not a disaster, but it gets annoying to go through this for
all my messages. How do I get Outlook to go immediately to my contacts? (Or
can I copy contacts to address book.) Funny thing is, when I start to type
an e-mail address, it "guesses" right away (from my contacts) what the
address could be, so in that situation Ootlook knows where to look.

You can tell the Outlook Address Book which folder to display first in Tools

Autocompletion has nothing to do with your Contacts. It uses a cache of
names derived from previous recipients.
