A little background: I have one outlook client on a my SBS2003 Premium
network that has this issue. None of the other 5 workstations exibit this
problem. We are currently not utilizing Public folders at this time.
Issue:
Open outlook 2003. Cick Contacts. Under My Contacts is listed:
Contacts
Contacts in Public Folders
When you click on 'Contacts in Public Folders' the following error is
reported:
The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, restart Outlook.
Restarting outlook doesn't solve the issue.
How do you remove 'Contacts in Public Folders' entry?
Under Control Panel > Mail > Email Accounts > View or change existing
directories or address books, only "Outlook Address Book" is listed. When I
click Change, Only Contacts: Mailbox - username is listed.
Thanks in advance for any advice,
Mike
