Constraining Table Dimensions

I need to constrain a table for label printing (Word 2003). The problem is
this: When I add space (0.2") to the Cell Margins, the absolute size of the
table grows; therefore, it will not properly print on my label sheet.

The table begins as an Avery template with ten cells; what I need to do is
add to the cell margins, as well as add a number of columns/rows to each
indivual cell but keep the original template constrained for proper printing.

Note that the Table Properties dialog box shows that the Cell Height is
constrained to "exactly" 2 inches, which is what I want; however, it is most
certainly NOT constraining it to this dimension when I add to the Cell
Margins.

Tips/tricks??

Thank you...

instead of cell margins, you could use paragraph indents?
