Constant Script Error Notices

I just switched from a cable network to Verizon DSL. I was getting about 5
pop ups per second every 5 minutes. I tried numerous pop up stoppers. The
pop ups have stopped, but now I get about 5 Internet Explorer Script Error
messages in rapid succession. They are as bad as the pop ups.
Note: Since I am always connected to the internet, I will get these script
error messages while not browsing the internet. Any suggestions. Thanks.

In IE under Tools Menu select Internet Options.
Go to Advance tab.
Under Browsing - check "disable script debugging"
uncheck "display notification about every script error"

Under Services there is a Messenger serice. Disable it
