Constant filling up of huge hard drive.

When I go to my folder under documents and
setings/administrator/local settings/temp, the folder
contains all sorts of files that take up most of my 120GB
drive. If I remove all those files, they return within a
week. Is there some way I can keep that from happening?
I am using Windows 2000 Professional on a Dell desktop.
