Constant Error signature when clicking on certain links on sites

For a days now internet explorer 6 has been shutting
down on most sites. The error signature is
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106
ModName: msvcrt.dll
ModVer: 6.1.8293.0 Offset: 00015ca2

I have tried reinstalling IE6 from the microsoft download
site and it hasn't helped. There is another post up here
from a guy named Andrew that is having the same exact
problem as me. Any suggestions appreciated..

Anthony, My name is Heidi
Im having the same problems, I posted the problems on this
newsgroup yesterday and recieved a few respones. I did all
the problem solvong given, but to no avail.
I have reloaded, defraged, scaned, and shredded several
times. I have searched for any type of help, Im beggining
to think this is a problem with the programe that is just
coming about. If you find out any news please let me know
