Constant error message: "The Handle is Invalid"

All of a sudden in the last few weeks IE will pop up with a red X error box
claiming
""The Handle is Invalid". I close it and it reappears every few minutes. I
realize this could be many things but the error box is title iexplorer.

Hi Gunslinger :)

If you have anything on your system Norton, disable it and see if that
helps. Norton 2003 is known to cause this error.

If you have the free version of Process Guard installed, uninstall it.

You installer may be corrupt, try downloading a new copy of the Windows
installer from the update or install website.
Windows Installer 3.1 v2 (3.1.4000.2435) is available

Hope this helps.

Thanks Jan! No Process Guard. We do have Symantec Corporate AV but have had
that forever. Will try the reinstall the installer and report back.
