I am sure that you've patched your system if you say that you have, but this
doesn't make other people's attempts to scan the network you are on go away,
it simply means your computer isn't vulnerable to their scans and won't rise
to the bait as it were.
I am not sure exactly what you mean by MS_RPC_DCOM_Bufferoverlow. Can you
be more descriptive in what your problem statement is? What exactly are
you seeing and from where are you seeing this? Is it happening in an
application? Are you getting a popup windows message or are you seeing
this in an event log or netmon trace?
Once I have more details I should be able to help you out.
