Constant 404 Errors: Page Not Found in Internet Explorer

R

rik stroeb

Why do I frequently get "404 error: Page Not Found" when I attempt to
go to some of my regular sites (e.g., Hotmail, eBay, Rolling Stone).
Usually, the page will load briefly, but then give way to the error
message.

Calling the site back up at once sometimes works (especially with
eBay), but others keep kicking up the error message until I give up in
frustration.

I never had this problem before XP.

Thanks for any imput.

Wait longer than six minutes before you repost your whine for help.
Impatience is not well regarded here.
