Consolidating e-mail folders ???

Is there a way to consolidate the e-mail folders (inbox, outbox, draft, sent
items) as subfolders within a single folder? For example, move these
folders so that they are subfolders of a folder call E-MAIL. Why? Because
right now their placement is a little unintuitive. The e-mail folders are
interspursed amongst other folders for contacts, calender, notes, tasks,
etc. It would be much more useful if the related folders were all grouped
together. Can this be done or will it create mail delivery and other
problems?

Thanks,

Richard

You didn't mention your Outlook version. Outlook 2003 consolidates these
into a single Mail navigation pane.

You can't move default folders within the folder hierarchy.

Sue,

Thank you for the reply. We are using Outlook 2002, so it appears we are
stuck with the default folder hierarchy!

Thanks,
Richard
