conneting with rdp and windows 98

i have a windows 98 pc which annot connect to a windows
2000 terminal server, i can ping the server and the
server can ping me, i can even access the shares on the
server, but when i try to connect i get the following
message:

remote desktop disconnected
the connection was ended due to a network error,
please try connecting again.

i've checked the licensing and everything seems ok there.

any idea's?

Is there an event ID for that error? Maybe you could just cut&paste the
entire error.
