I am currently running Windows 2000 Server with around 20 active users.
For some unknown reason some of our users are dropping off of the
network without unplugging their CAT5 cords or logging off. I am not
sure as to why this is happening. When I ran the Network Monitor it
froze our network. Any help would be appreciated.

What DNS server do your clients point to for primary? for Secondary?

Connectivity issues can be tough to solve, especially when they're
intermittant. A few things to look for:

Do users drop off in bunches?
Does it happen at a particular time of day?
Do they get a "network cable unplugged" message on the network icon in the
task bar?
Do the activity lights on your switch go berserk when this is happening?
