connection to server interrupted only with wireless

I have Outlook 2003, alltel dsl, using a wrt54g ver 5 router setup as
pppoe. I can get wireless and wired to work fine accessing the
internet, but when i am wirelessly connected i get "Connection to
server interrupted" errors. The weird thing is I can setup an out of
alltel network email account such as (e-mail address removed)
and outlook works fine.

I have repaired outlook, created a new profile in outlook, deleted all
messages online, but yet it still doesn't work.

The router was replace once by linksys due to wireless issues so that
is taken care of.

Oh and before you all ask, I do have Nortan Internet Security and we
have tried to disable that and norton AV and even the mail scans and
mail still will not consistantly come in from my alltel accounts. All
the incoming and outgoing mail servers have been verified many times
over.

I have even tried pcmcia cards made by linksys that are designed to
work with the router and it doesn't work wirelessly, but everything
wired works fine.

Please if you have any ideas let me know. I can not find anything
close to my problem with an answer.

Try adjusting the MTU value in the router. See if this helps:
