Connection timout

Is there a way to automatically disconnect the MN700
router from the internet afte few minutes of inactivity
(when the pc is switched off)?
I don't have a flat subscription to ADSL and If I don't
manually switch off the modem I cannot disconnect from
the internet.

Actually this group is for MS-Access, the database product, not Internet
Access, but I can answer your question anyway. The answer is no. Unless you
turn them off, routers stay connected to the Internet. Certain firewalls can
be programmed to shut off traffic (but not turned off entirely) under
specified conditions.
