Robin

here is the deal:
I have 2 netcards, 1 is plugged to my broadband, the
other one is connected to a hub.
I have had a little network like this before, but one day
my friend borrowed my hub. now I have got it back.
the real question:
when I want to click the box "allow other network users
to connect through the internet connection on this
computor" (this has worker before). I get a message saying
"An error..... this service can not accept controll
messages"
Please help me!.

Robin,

unless you have Service Pack 2 installed, do not activate the
firewall on your internal LAN connection. Disable it now, then
reboot and try again to enable ICS (Internet Connection
Sharing).
