Connection Failed!

Every so often, when I click my Local Area Network Connection
icon, I get a Connection Failed! nastygram. The only solution
seems to be to reboot. Then all is well, probably for days
or even weeks. Then it happens again.

Any idea why??
 
Perhaps the NIC went to sleep? See the Power management tab for it in
Device Manager properties.
