Connection error message

When opening IE I get the message:
Work Offline
No connection to the internet is currently available. To
view content that has been saved to your computer clik
work offline. Click Try Again to connect.

I click Try Again and I am connected but it is slow and
the same message will sometimes come up as I move from
site to site.

This may be a coincidence but this started happening right
after I had to lower my security for Restricted Zones in
order to submit my tax return to the government online.
After sending the data file I returned my security
settings to normal (medium setting) but perhaps something
else got checked/unchecked in the process. I've looked
over all settings and they seem fine.

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate hearing them.
This happened once before along with many other glitches
and I ended up re-installing Windows et. al. Not my idea
of a fun day!

Try this fix.

When You Try to Use Internet Explorer: No Connection to the Internet Is
Currently Available
No connection to the Internet is currently available, and you are unable to
browse the Internet.
