Connecting two sites with RRAS

I want to move all my servers to another location and be
able to access them from our current location. 1 option
was to buy a PTP Private T1 line to connect the two
buildings. Can this be done with RRAS and using the
internet. I want my users to still be able to access
files, and run apps from the server as it is now, but the
servers being else where.

You could connect the two sites by a VPN connection through the Internet
(using RRAS or hardware routers) but there would be quite a drop in
performance.

A direct routed connection through the Internet would be pretty
insecure. A dedicated private connection would be fast and secure I would
think (but more expensive!)
