My laptop is currently configured to attach to my company's network
company.com. When I boot my XP laptop, I am prompted to log onto company.com
username and password even when i am not in the office. I sometimes work
from home, and would now also like the ability to log onto my home network
(home.com) when I am home (yet also still be able to log onto my company
network when I am in the company office.)
My home network has a windows 2003 server and one other client attached. It
gets its internet feed from a cable modem to a hub on which are my laptop,
server and other pc client. I tried setting up an alternate ip address - but
I definately set it it incorrectly because it had disasterous results (I had
to restore my previous settings to get it to boot properly).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
