connecting to sql server

Hello,

I have Access 97 running on XP professional, in Access 97
I have set up connections to SQL Server. However when I
try and view a linked table it fails to open the
connection, if I persist and continue to try and open
linked tables the connection is eventually established.
Has anybody experienced and if so is there a solution.

Not sure but try setting the OLE / DDE Timeout to a longer interval. This
property is available under Tools / Options ... / Advanced tab.
