Connecting to server via RDP exits silently

I have W2K Server w/SP4 Terminal Server running in Remote
Administration mode.

Any time I connect RDP from XP or other 2K pro machines to
my WTS I can login, navigate around and then after
approximately 10m minutes the Remote Desktop Connections
MMC I use closes silently.

No Errors in the client or servers Applog / syslog / anylog

Has anyone encountered this silently exiting of a
connection?

I have had this problem as well, only during idle. If I am connected
to RD, as long as the window on the client is open, the connection will
be maintained whether I am active or not. If I minimize the window, RD
will disconnect me after a few minutes.

Just curious, but have you checked these machines for the
Blaster virus / patched the RPC vulnerability?

Have you tried running a network trace to see what those
network packets are going? Are packets bring dropped?
