Connecting to a database

I have a website where people fill out information and it is then submitted
and it updates a database. This was working perfectly until we switched onto
one server. It originally was on two different servers and it redirected to
the web server. We kept every file under the same directory path but, now it
does not work. Is there anything that anyone can think of that I could check
to solve this problem? Thanks
 
Did you check/change your DB location/connection when you "moved" things using Tools Site Settings Database
