Connecting Outlook from 2003 Server x64 OS

R

Russell Baker

I am trying to connect my Outlook client to a remote Exchange server via
https. OS is windows 2003 x64. I have applied service pack 2 which
contains the RPC fix for connecting to Exchange server. However I get msg
"Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable" - when I know it is not
unavailable because I'm connected to it in another session.

Has anybody successfully connected to an Exchange Server from a 2003 x64
Sever? I think the OS is the problem. It's definitely flaky.

thanks - Russ

Russell, I have the identical problem and cannot find a solution on the MS
site or anywhere else. All of our other computers (32 bit) work fine and wew
easy to set up. Does anybody have a solution to this?

Is the exchange server the 64 bit or are you running 2003 x64 on the
desktop?

Diane, The server is a 32 bit system and all of the workstations except the
one I'm having trouble with are 32 bit. The remote desktop computer is
Windows XP Media Center Edition.

Nedia Center PCs cannot connect to a domain.
