connecting computers

I want to connect two computers to the same DSL line. can
someone walk me through the procedure? is hub or router
better for use? one is windows 200o which is the host
computer and the other is windows ME. Thanks most
appreciatively!

If all you are networking is 2 computers and you have
bellsouth dsl and you have a westell modem. Then all you
have to do is buy a hub. Run the mail dsl line into your
modem, then run a patch cable from the modem to the hub.
From there you will have to have 2 long enough cat 5.
cables that will reach each computer from the hub. If
you need to network them, then additional steps are
needed.

I think I will have to network them, but it is not working
like I thought. It should be simple, right? I have set
up the windows ME as the guest computer but what do I do
for the host computer which is windows 2000?
