connecting another hdd is restarting my winXP !

When I connect another hdd - whatever what kind of hdd -
my winXP is restarting ! Another disk can be even
formatted - and I have the same problem. Please help.

I haven't got this problem any time earlier. It has
started few days ago and I don't even know why.

Could you please be more specific? What do you mean and what are you
trying to do *exactly* - remember, we are not at your house and can't
see what you're doing. What are your computer specifications? Perhaps
you don't have a strong enough power supply to do this. Perhaps you're
not jumpering drives correctly. Please post back with details for help.
