Connecting a second monitor

Hello, I just upgraded from windows XP to Vista Ultimate. I am having a very
hard time connecting a second monitor/TV to work together, "mirror" When I
connect my TV, using a video component cable, it does recognize it, but I can
only use one or the other. I need help to "mirror" them both.
This worked perfectly with my XP Windows, but not with Vista when I
upgraded. My computer is HP 1160 with media player. I assume there is a
way to correct this

Thanks

Vista only allows one video driver to be active at any one time. All your
video adapters
have to run off the same driver.
Do you have two brands of video cards ? If you do that is your problem with
Vista.

Another WOW feature ?
