connect my pc to my tv

please can someone help i have windows ultimate edition i have the s video
cable which goes in the back of my comp to a scart cable which goes into the
back of my tv and all i get is a blue scrreen of death looking at me

Are you using the TV as your only monitor or do you have a monitor
plugged in as well?

If you keep getting a "Blue Screen of Death" which we assume means a
stop error and not just a plain blue screen on the TV only does this
also happen when using a monitor or just with the TV.

What kind of machine is it, and what Video card is in it?

If you are getting a stop error all the time then the TV is the least of
your problems, if it only happens when you plug in the TV then it could
be a number of things but quite likely the wrong drivers for your video
setup.
