Conflict editing data

Hi everyone!!
Two users tried to change the same record at the same time. As a result that
record shows know a lot of rare icons and does not allowed any changes. I
just want to delete the record, but it does not allow to do that neither.
Please, somebody out there help me with this, I am getting crazy

Try doing a database repair and compact.

If that does not do it, try creating a new table and copying the good
data.

Access record locking should prevent that problem. I don't know if it
is possible to circumvent record locking or if Access can fail in this area,
but I have never seen it and I know there have been many many times when two
people tried to make changes to the same field in the same record at the
same time, and record locking locked one out.

I might ask, Do you have the database split or are the two users both
opening the same database at the same time? That may be your problem.
