Configuring Windows 2000 IPSec client

Hi,

I am trying to configure Windows 2000 as IPSec client
for our proprietary IPSec server. Can I use IPSec client
without enabling L2TP in WIN2K? Please reply.

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,
Bepsy

Yes you can have Windows 2000 as IPSec client only without L2TP. All you
have to do is configure IPSec Policy under Group Policy...

There are few possible scenarios. Here is one of them...
Move all your PCs that will communicate over IPSec to one Organization Unit
and create new Group Policy. Edit it. Under Computer Configuration Expand
Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Edit and configure IP Security
Policies on Active Directory as you like
