Configuring Wallpaper

Does anyone know how to configure the desktop wallpaper
for all accounts in TD. I looked under InCtrl5 and a
bunch of keys get modified. Just wondering how to set it
in TD for all accounts.

Hi Tanch,

you can set this key:
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop
just change the value of the Wallpaper (REG_SZ) to be the path and filename
you want.
for example: c:\windows\web\wallpaper\splash.bmp
make sure you use a BMP file. this setting sets the splash wallpaper (the
background during login screen) and the default wallpaper in the desktop.
you can also change the WallPaperStyle and TileWallpaper values.
another option could be to use the Active Desktop policy in the Group Policy
snap-in (gpedit.msc).
goto User Configuration- Administrative Templates- Desktop- Active Desktop-
Active Desktop Wallpaper
here you can also use JPG files format. because of the use of policy, all
users will have the same wallpaper.
