Configure 2 computers to one monitor? How?

Hi all! I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out with a
little problem I have. Here's the situation, I have two computers, a fairly
new pc, and a brand new smoking G5. I recently purchased a 20 inch cinema
display. But, the problem I am having is I really only have room for one
monitor on my desk at home, and I need the PC for work stuff, and the Mac is
obviously my editing box. When I purchased the display I figured it would
just have multiple inputs for multiple computers, like the Dells do...but
no! So I have to switch the cable back and forth between computers, and it's
becoming annoying. So, does anyone know of any sort of switch box I can use
as a solution? Or anything else that might work, and also, will this sort of
switching eliminate my color control, which is of course really important to
me. Thanks you all!

That switch does not have DVI support. Does my setup require this?
Look at the monitor plug, below is a DVI connector.

However with the Mac, you might have another nifty technology called
ADC

If it's not one of these, it might be a standard VGA connector.

In any case, there are KVM switches you can find. The G5 is all usb for
keyboard/mouse, and YES you can put an apple USB keyboard on your PC,
and vice versa.
(The windows logo key gets remapped to one of the special Apple Keys)

Just a little more input. Do some research on KVM switches there are models
out there that will also allow you to share speakers between computers. It
can still be a nuisance if you have to switch them manually when you change
from one to the other depending on your needs. Otherwise, these switches are
a nice thing to have.I currently use a four port D-Link KVM and look forward
to upgrading to one that also has the shared speaker capability.
