config.nt error

Every time I run NeroInfo Tool, I get this error.

"16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

C:/WINDOWS/System32/cmd.exe
config.nt. The system file is not suitable for running MS-
DOS and Microsoft Windows applications."

I have a feeling this has to do with DOS. I had no such
problem before until I installed a program. This even
showed up when running uninstall on the program. How can
I make this go away?

Not sure you will consider this help but I had the same problem and got
someone to send me their config.nt. Also related to a game I tried to
install. Anyway, probably not the brightest thing in the world to do but
worked like a charm. I am sure others will advise of the dangers of "relying
on the kindness of strangers". As I said, probably dumb but it worked.
