config .net framework 2.0???

We have installed the .NET framework ver 2.0 on an XP Pro machine. It did
not install any icons anywhere - (and believe me we have looked everywhere)
for configuration as it does when you install the ver 1.0 or ver 1.1
framework. We can not seem to find anything on the web as to where some of
this stuff may be. Does anyone know how you go about running the wizards for
this (if any even exist) or where you go to configure it all? We looked at
the dir where all this is installed and there is no .msc file nor is there
any wizard.exe file as there is for 1.1..

Please help!

Thanks, Brad

Do you mean "Start -> Settings -> Administrative Tasks -> Microsoft .NET
Framework 2.0 Configuration" ?

This would be located under:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\SDK\v2.0\Bin\mscorcfg.msc

The path indicates, that it is only installed with the SDK, not the
Runtime only.

So you have to install the SDK in order to get this stuff then?? Seems silly
that you can't access any configuration options with only the runtime
installed.. Why would they want you to install the SDK on every machine that
requires 2.0 to be isntalled? Unless we are seriously missing something here
that is just nuts.

Thanks, Brad
