Confidence Intervals

Does Access understand how to calculate confidence intervals like Excel? I
can easily calculate these in excel and would like them to be included in a
report in Access, for example: CONFIDENCE (alpha, stdev, n).

Not directly. You'ld have to link to the Excel program library (using
Tools... References) or recreate the code.

sJohn:
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I am not very experienced with VB
code. Any suggestions on a SQL query for this calculation. I am surprised
that Access cannot do it as Excel does it so easily.

I got it to work using the following equation:
1.96* ([standard deviation] / [the square root of the sample size])
