conditionnal formating lost after saving custom form

Hi !

I created a custom task form in outlook 2003
I've put code to make a textbox red when value changed in a drop down
list

it works real fine, the textbox becomes red or blue depending on the
value

but

If a save my form after filling it, I close the form and reopen it,
the code isn't working anymore and the color comes back to original.
when I change the value, color doesn't change

it works only the first time I open a form

I've tried the item_open property, but same thing, only works the
first time.

can anyone help me ?

Outlook saves only the data in its standard and custom properties, not runtime changes to the UI. You would need to put code in the Item_Open event handler to make similar UI changes every time the user opens an existing item. If it works only once, look for signs of one-offing, which would cause code to stop running.
